I teach a twice-yearly seminar about writing for comics, the Mechanics of Visual Storytelling, for Comics Mastermind. I have also taught seminars on events such as the Australian Comic Arts Festival and Continuum.
I have been a speaker on panels at a variety of conventions and conferences, including the World Science Fiction Convention, Small Press Expo, Oz Comic Con, Continuum, Conflux, Supanova, and the Australian Comic Arts Festival. I made a speech at my brother’s wedding and my family did not disown me, so that probably counts also.
I am available for comic script assessments through Comics Mastermind.
I am available for commissioned writing work in comics or prose for publishing or corporate clients.
